Today was the first day Annalise tutored
me, so she started asking me a few questions about me (how long I learned English
and what I want to focus on). I told her that I would like to focus on my reading
and writing skills. She prepared a reading and grammar quiz that was helpful to
know what I was struggling with. After the quiz, we discussed about the vocabularies
I was unsure with. Also, she explained the grammar mistakes very easily. At the
end, I wrote a short paragraph about what I did last weekend. She corrected
some grammar mistakes and gave me good feedbacks. Her feedbacks were clear and
helpful for me to understand what I was struggling with. We decided to write
short paragraphs every time we meet and practice on my vocabs. It was a
valuable time for me to know what I was unaware of.
