Annalise TS #2

Jane and I worked on reading and writing again in this session. It's probably going to be the main topic of all of our tutoring sessions because she has her conversational partner for speaking and she already has a strong vocabulary. She's an advanced student so I tried to find level appropriate material that would challenge her to start the session. She only had trouble with a few verbs but otherwise did well on these worksheets. For reading, I gave her an in depth passage and extremely conceptual questions related to it. I think this was a good way to get her to read the passage carefully and truly understand what was written. The final thing we worked on was writing. During this session, I tried a speed writing exercise to see if the amount of time allowed affected her grammar at all but there was no difference.
