Topic/Skill: Reading and Comprehension
Today Abdulrahman and I worked on reading using some of his worksheets from classes. The readings were all about various science and environmental terms. This made it challenging to explain some of the vocabulary because synonyms were obscure. I recapped our discussion from the other day with "had had." We talked about various phrasal verbs and idioms which was fun. It went better than our last meeting because the readings were provided from his reading class, so the level was more appropriate. I need to work on finding a better level reading.
