I observed Listening Group2A. The students
had a quiz to prepare so, the instructor gave the students 10minutes before the
quiz. The quiz was about the vocabularies they learned. The instructor
explained to me about what they had done. They watched a movie ‘Insideout’ and
learned strategies how to study vocabularies. So, on the quiz, the students had
to write the definitions of the words and write down how they study new words.
After the quiz, the instructor handed out a
subtitle of the movie they watched. She told the students to highlight the
words they don’t know. Then, with the words they didn’t know, the instructor
explained how they could learn the vocabularies. She introduced a website named
‘Learner’s dictionary’. She ended the class by introducing the exam they are
going to do next time.
