First, we started by working on a grammar
worksheet. It had some sentences that I had to correct the grammar. It wasn’t
simply multiple choice so, I thought the activity was an appropriate level for
me. After grammar, she gave me a reading passage to read and I had to solve a
few questions that were related to the reading passage. The questions helped me
read the passage carefully. The questions also made me read the passage repeatedly.
This activity was a good way to practice my reading skills. Annalise showed me
some vocabularies and told me to circle the vocabularies I don’t know. She
explained the definitions and gave me some examples to help me understand the
meanings. Finally, I did a speed writing exercise. She gave me 5minutes to
write 5 or 6 sentences. The topic was to write anything about Tallahassee.
Annalise gave me some feedbacks of my writing and ended the lesson.
