I met with Gabriela for the first time on
Saturday, May 20th, 2017 at 10:00 am at Strozier Library. I decided
to use this first meeting to get to know each other and talk about what
Gabriela would like to get out of our tutoring sessions. We talked about how I
understood that learning a new language was hard because I have been learning
Portuguese since high school (her native language). She told me that she would
like to work on the speaking and listening skills as she believed that is what
needed the most work.
