            During the June 10^th, 2017 10:00 am tutoring session I ended up working with Alex. I asked him what he wanted to work on, if he wanted to read or work on vocabulary and he told me he didn’t want to. So, I asked him if he wanted to work on numbers and math and he got really excited. I stared by writing the numbers from 1-100 and having him read them, which he knew very well. I them wrote from 100-1,000 by 100 and he had a little bit of a harder time but he understood quickly. Then I started to teach him about tens, hundreds, thousands, ten thousand places and how they are divided by commas. He seemed a little confused at first but by the end he was able to understand perfectly, even harder numbers to read such as 15,256.
