Soumaya and I met up again to do a little tutoring/conversation partner session. We spent the first hour just hanging out and talking about her trip to NYC (which I wrote about in a different post), but spent the second hour going over some grammar exercises she was hoping to master before the start of CIES' new semester.
She wanted to go over when to use -ly adjectives, so we created a number of sentences that surrounded things she did on her trip. It seemed that she really started to grasp the concept once we were through!
