For this session we met at the black dog in rail rd square. Fahd primarily wanted to have conversation practice so I obliged. Inevitably the conversation shifted to idioms and I did my best to explain and many as possible to him. It took a bit of effort but I also tried to use as many of them in situational context sentences so he could get a better idea of what they mean and how they are used. Throughout this session I took time to enunciate and speak clearly. Instinctively without my direction Fahd would repeat after me to the best of his ability and I would try the break the words down for him. Fahd googled some idioms for us the go through because most of them he could not remember. We also talked about some words that confused him which was mostly just explanations for some of the stuff he saw around town on signs.
