The last time Soumaya and I hung out, it was right after the next session of CIES began. While she was bored before, now she's wishing she had another week or two off -- but isn't that how it always goes?!
She's still hoping to find a job on campus, but I told her that may be easier once she finishes this semester so her English is comparably better. Something like working in the library would be a good job for her, where she has to interact with a few people but not an overwhelming amount.
I picked her up and we went to Starbucks like the first time we hung out. She's not a fan of coffee whatsoever, but I've turned her on to the caffeinated berry drinks. I'm sure we'll continue to hang out well into the Fall semester. It's been a blast getting to know her through this program!
