For this session we decided to mix it up again and get something to eat for dinner. To my utter surprise she suggested we go to Hooters presumably because she like the wings. It was initially very awkward as I waited for her to arrive but we settled into our work easily. We mostly looked over some of her home work and class work. During some of her classes she would write down things that confused her and asked me to clarify. I don't speak a lot of Spanish but I was able to do basic translations that helped her get a better grasp of what the word or phrase meant. She had a list of words some of them simple to explain like "preoccupied," others were a little more specific so explaining them was difficult. At the book store she bought a bundle of vocabulary cards and we discussed how to use them. I suggested she try to make a habit of reading a few every night before bed and maybe take some with her while she goes about her day.
