Though Soumaya had a different tutoring partner, she asked me to go over a few things with her when her other tutor wasn't available. This was right before her trip to NYC so she wanted to go over some key vocabulary she would need/want to know in the city.
We talked about things like the subway -- showing images of what the signs look like and how to follow a subway train map. I told her and showed her the different monuments/key places she would see like Times Square, the State of Liberty, etc. She was really excited to head out, so we talked about my experience there as well last December. I told her she has to tell me all about the places she goes to eat, because that was my favorite part of the trip.
