Saad and I talked about our different hometowns and this history behind them. Saad was trying to convince me to teach in Saudi Arabia instead of South Korea. He showed me lots of photos of his hometown, Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia. He told me about the historic district, the transportation system, and the shopping. I jokingly told him I'd visit when I could drive. He countered by informing me that female foreign teachers get private drivers to shuttle them around and the pay is good. He certainly had my attention. Then, we talked about my hometown (Pensacola) and I told him places he should visit there. We both agreed that if we are ever in the other's hometown, we will show each other around.
