Valerie TS #11

My tenth tutoring session was with PJ. He immediately wanted to get started, so we dived right in. His comprehension and pronunciation are both extremely good, so we only stopped when I knew the word might be a little out of his reach. He's good with using synonyms to explain definitions since his depth of vocabulary is considerably high for his age.

We stopped after each chapter for him to summarize and I noticed while he was reading the words just fine this day, his mind was a little all over the place. His summaries were a little disjointed so we took time to go back into the chapter when needed and read passages over again with focus so he could then tell me what was currently happening in the book.
