Saeed and I introduced ourselves and did the usual "getting to know you" questions (he's from Saudi Arabia and loves being outside with his dad), but then we branched into our mutual love of travel. We talked about the different places we've been and where we want to go in the future (he wants to go to Italy, I want to go to New Zealand), and then gave each other advice on different places. We also talked about different places in the US that he's been to. He said he found Atlanta a little underwhelming when he went, so I suggested he try visiting New Orleans. We looked at pictures and he was intrigued. I told him about the history and cultural significances, but it wasn't until I told him about Mardi Gras that he was hooked. We looked up a lot of pictures to supplement our discussions.
