My last two blogs are a little late, but Soumaya and I hung out at the pool the second to last time we've met up. She had her trip to New York and was telling me all about it. I just went to NYC for the first time last December so we talked about how crazy big the city is and how bright Times Square is at night. She said she had a blast and is starting to adapt to American culture better. She loves her new New York Yankees hat -- I had to break it to her that I hate the Yankees, but we could still hang out ;)
She's enjoying her new apartment and has been sprucing it up a bit, making it more of her own. This was before the next CIES session started, so she said she's been pretty bored besides going to NYC. Glad to hear she's excited to get back in class!
