So for this partner meeting I barrowed my Dads car (it is much nicer than my old truck) to drive Fahd and show him the different homes of Tallahassee. First we stopped by a trailer-park off white drive and I explained the type of home, pre-fab homes, and the economic circumstances associated with them. He'd seen plenty of the houses on the west-side of town so I took him east to Kilearn to show him a subdivision that was being newly built. I explained what the suburbs are and what was going on development wise. It was interesting because many of the houses were in varying levels of completion so he was able to see how these typical new American homes are built. I also explained the pros and cons to buying one, and how places like Kilearn essentially become a town within a town. After that I took him to some of the nicer communities of Tallahassee to see really big plantation style or mansion like houses. We talked a lot about the poverty gap and the range of economic classes of Tallahassee and the US in general. We also talked a little bit about his home in Kuwait and the town he lives in.
