Location: Chipotle & Yogurt Mountain
After class on Thursday, I invited Jane to go with me to dinner and my house to work on our self-evaluation from our listening lesson. Over dinner, we talked about how in Korea people often refer to each other as a brother or sister even if they are not related. I asked Jane when that started and she said she has just always known it to be that way. She also said that she only calls her close friends by their full names because it is weird to call someone you're not close with by their full name. I thought that was interesting because in America it is normal and somewhat formal to refer to someone by their full name when you are strangers or just acquaintances. After we ate at Chipotle we headed directly to Yogurt Mountain next door. Jane was smart and left some room for dessert while I had to do my best to make room for dessert.
