In my meeting with Abdulrahman, I picked him up and we went to Moody's for dinner (after sundown) to work on speaking and listening comprehension. He has a presentation next Tuesday so we worked on terms about poverty and homelessness. It is challenging for him to say words that start with the letter "p" so we made sure to use the word poverty a lot to become more comfortable with using the word. We also talked about vocabulary terms that he should be knowledgable of such as: illiterate and cost of living. It was fun having a meal together, too. We also talked about the news and what we listen to and why.
