Feedback provided to tutee: I just helped her figure out how to find a flight and bus to different places.
Today, I met with Soumaya, and she seemed to be tired again today but still in a good mood. She said that she felt good about her final exams, and she said that she knew all of the words that we had gone over in our last session. She was very appreciative of my help with those vocabulary words. I'm really glad I was able to help her with that. Today, we talked about travel since she and her friends at CIES are getting ready to take a trip somewhere during their break. I was helping her figure out where they could visit, and I helped her find out how to look up plane tickets. She seemed to be leaning heavily towards New York, so I helped her find tickets to New York. They were cheaper through Atlanta, and none of them drive. They would have to take a bus to Atlanta and a flight from there, but that's still cheaper than taking a flight from Tallahassee. She said that they had considered going to New Orleans, but she immediately shot it down when I told her that it's not my favorite place. It's also an issue because the weather is going to be bad no matter where they go next week. I'm hoping that she'll be at the water celebration at CIES on Friday since that might be the last time I'll see her.
