Alexa TS #9

Today (6/19/17, 2:00-3:30) I got to tutor Ana and continue to help her with the speaking portion of the TOEFL. She is taking the test on Saturday, so I'm hoping that my tutoring has helped her. We wend through a lot of different questions, but today I decided to be a little more nit picky since she has improved so much compared to the first day I tutored her. I noticed that she she messed up multiple times on subject verb agreements so I tried to help her with that. Something that we did differently this week was that for our last speaking question, I had Ana write out what she would say. That way, we would be able to visually see the kind of mistakes she was having during her speaking. However, there were really only a few mistakes that had to be corrected. We are going to be meeting up again tomorrow for tutoring, and she wants us to use the disc so she can listen to how the speaking part would actually go. I think that will be beneficial for her since up to this point, I have just been reading the questions to her and timing her using my phone which probably isn't the most accurate.
