Cultural and/or linguistic topics you and your partner learned: Finished polishing up his speaking presentation for this afternoon. 

For my sixth meeting with Saeed we continued our work on his speaking presentation about World Hunger, which is coming up this afternoon. We added three more slides and edited everything to make it uniform and clear. I also helped come up with a script of sorts for each slide, correcting his grammatical, punctuation and word choice mistakes. We worked on all of this for about 50 minutes and I then had him do a run through of the presentation so that he would feel more comfortable presenting this afternoon. I told him to practice another time in front of his roommate and then he said he would also be meeting with his conversation partner at lunch time to go over his pronunciation one last time before class which I said would be a great idea. We spent the last five minutes chatting about our presentations, because I have one this afternoon as well. We decided to meet on Monday for one of our last two meetings and wished each other good luck and went on our ways to practice and study.
