Abdulrahman and I met today to work on his presentation for class tomorrow on poverty. I helped him with some terms he was struggling with "illiterate" and the phrase "live in poverty." It was useful for him to practice and we went over his ideas multiple times. I helped explain the concepts of food banks and food deserts to broaden his knowledge of poverty in America.
