Saad and I participated in The Longest Table which is a mayor sponsored event inviting people in the community to have dinner together in the community. I was assigned to the Islamic Center of Tallahassee and because of this I thought of inviting Saad! He pointed out to me that we would not be able to eat together. I did not believe him, but he was right. I should have believed him! So we ate separately but talked before and after about our experiences. I had a wonderful time dining with the women and children and he got to visit a new mosque to him in Tallahassee.
