Feedback provided to tutee: new vocabulary, reason for using gerund and different tenses, plural and singular objects
Lesson(s) about tutoring and/or the tutee you learned: I brought MadLib books with me, and we did a few of those, and read one short story, stopping to go over words he was unsure of or phrases he didn't understand. I was able to see what level of reading he was at so I can bring better materials next time. He is not very confident in his reading ability, so he enjoyed the MadLibs better than just reading a story and answering questions. I also learned that he wants to go to FSU for law school after CIES.
