Claudia and I met at Blaze Pizza for dinner, and she was so nice! She told me about how she recently moved here from Venezuela for the CIES course, and she hopes to go to FSU afterwards. She is one of the younger students in the class, as she is 18 and just graduated high school. Claudia told me about the things that she enjoys doing with her friends here in Tallahassee, about her boyfriend, and her roommates.

I learned a lot of things about Venezuela that I did not know before, such as how there is now almost a war and it is not safe. She wants to go home to visit her family but they don't want her to go because it would be unsafe. She also told me about how much she misses Venezuelan style areas, and she has found something similar to it that she can make at home. Claudia's brother also went to FSU for the CIES course, and he now lives in Miami.

She told me that she hasn't been able to do a lot of things in Tallahassee yet, so I am thinking of fun things that I can take her to do next time we meet. I was thinking of maybe taking her to the top of the capital building to see all of Tallahassee!
